This certified metapelet (Hebrew for caregiver) first astounded the Judges with her rousing rendition of Shirley Bassey's ballad "This is my Life" where she got a standing ovation.
The judges including the contestants were once again amazed by her performance. She made the song her own by making use of her soft voice blending perfectly with the growl. However, it was not an easy journey for her.
"I feel that everybody's looking at me like I am an alien" the 46 year old caregiver said. Before her performance, it was difficult for her to mingle with the Israeli contestants. Osang isolated herself saying that she thinks they look at her as a Filipino just cleaning houses. It lowered her confidence but she knows that she should stand still for her family back in the Philippines who depends on her.
Inspite of the hardship, Osang eventually earned the standing ovation from other contestants and the four Yeses from the Judges to make it through the next round.
